What documents do I need to send to ERES?
When you are applying via your ERES account on our website, the system will provide in detail the required documents for you based on your situation. Generally, we will need the original transcripts or marksheets and degree certificate (if applicable). If your original documents are not in English, a qualified translation or translation service by ERES is also required. You may be contacted for additional documents after we reviewed your initial submission.

Why does ERES require original official documents? (and not fax or photocopies)

I’ve graduated a long time ago, and my school probably doesn’t have my record anymore. What should I do?
Please try to contact your school since most of the institutions maintain records better than you imagine. Even your school was merged or changed its name, records will be passed and managed by certain authority. You may also contact the Ministry of Education of the country.

I studied at one school and completed the rest at another school, what documents should I send?
In order for us to finish your evaluation, we need to collect complete study records. If your final institution lists all your course works with detail units and grades, then you may not need to send documents from that institution. Otherwise, please send us individual original document issued by each institution.

The program I completed is a research-based program and I don’t have a transcript. Can ERES still evaluate it for me?

Will my original documents be safe at ERES?

Will my original documents be returned back?
Every original document that is submitted by you directly will be returned back along after the evaluation is complete. However, documents that are sent from your institution directly to us will not be returned. Additionally, documents may not be returned if they misrepresent the truth in any way or are determined as fraudulent records.

Does ERES need all my school records from elementary school, secondary school and university?
Depending on the type of evaluation, you may need to submit only the post-secondary / university records. However, please check with the receiving institution (e.g. U.S. school, professional board, employer, government agency) to make sure you are submitting the appropriate documents.

Is my school or program recognized in United States?
One of the main features of our evaluation report is to determine whether the foreign school you completed courses from is recognized in United States. Generally, if a school is recognized by the Ministry of Education in its country then it could be considered as a recognized institution in the U.S.

What should I do if my school changed its name?

Should I include my Certificate / Diploma / Degree with my records?
If you were awarded a Certificate / Diploma / Degree, then you must submit it. Otherwise, your equivalency may be affected. If the original is in a large size, you may contact the institution for a certified true copy of proof of degree awarded as an alternative document. However, such a document alone is usually not sufficient for an evaluation and it must be supported by your academic transcripts.

How do I submit my original documents?
You may mail all your originals through a courier with tracking# and signature require (USPS, UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.) to our current office address below.

The highest education I complete is Master’s Degree, can I only provide this Master’s documents for evaluation?

The highest education I complete is a PhD, can I only provide this PhD’s documents for evaluation?

Can ERES request my documents from my institution?

Can I bring my documents into the ERES office and pick them up when the evaluation is completed?

My name is now different from when I obtained my degree. What do I need to do to obtain the evaluation in my present name?
If any of your records refer to you by a name different from your current name, you are required to submit a copy of your marriage license or some other type of documentation that shows your name has been legally changed. If you cannot provide documentation of an official change in your name, we will need to use the name given on your official educational records.

Do I still need to provide my documents again after my first evaluation report is issued?
